COVID-19 Procedures

As we all are dealing with the effects of the measures to control the spread of COVID-19 in our community we at Oriole Road Animal Hospital are implementing the following :

At this time we are planning to remain open in a limited capacity. We will be able to see pets that require attention, fill prescriptions and provide medications and food. We plan to defer all non essential appointments and procedures.

Please contact the clinic by telephone or email before coming for either emergencies, appointments or to pick up food and medications.

A veterinarian will be available to discuss your pet’s condition either by phone, email or video chat if you prefer.

If you are experiencing symptoms of illness, such as a cough or fever,  please contact the clinic by telephone or email, so we can either reschedule or reorganize care for your pet.

If you have travelled out of the country in the last 2 weeks please self quarantine. If your pet needs Veterinary attention, or if you have an existing appointment please contact the clinic by telephone or email before coming to the clinic.

If possible only one person should bring the pet into the clinic.

We will be triaging all currently booked  appointments and contacting owners to best meet the needs of the pet. Some alternatives to the regular appointment may include drop off appointments or telemedicine.

All elective surgeries will be postponed where possible

Refills of medications (including tick preventatives):  Please contact the clinic by telephone so we can arrange to have medications ready when you come to pick them up . This will reduce time spent in the waiting room. Payment can occur over the telephone or quickly once you have arrived.

We would like to emphasize that at this time we are available to help you and your pet, but please help us follow public health guidelines regarding social distancing.
